Map and addresses
Map tiles are OpenStreetMap data via CARTO. Street addresses are read from the clubs' own websites, and where a club publishes none, from its entry in the Norwegian company register — but never a c/o address, which is someone's home rather than a gym. Every address is looked up in Kartverket's official address register and only accepted when the point lands in the club's own town. Clubs without a confirmed address sit on the town centre and are marked as such.
Club data
Club names, websites and social channels are gathered from the clubs' own pages, from public Norwegian martial arts directories, and from the Norwegian company register, where clubs are registered as sports associations. No club logos are used — each club is shown with its initials instead.
Prices
Prices are read automatically off the clubs' own price and membership pages, and usually show the cheapest adult membership. The sentence each price came from is shown on the club page, along with a link to the source. Prices change often — always check with the club.
